About the Illustrator 

          Jillian Knight Nesbø grew up in Westerly, Rhode Island USA.  From an early age she was interested in drawing, painting and crafts.  As a young teen she started taking private oil painting lessons and was in art clubs in high school.  She continued to get her Associate in Arts degree from Community College of Rhode Island in 2011.  She discovered her talent with ink pens from deciding to participate in the Instagram Inktober challenge in 2017.  She has been commissioned multiple pet portraits in oil painting and ink pens and has sold many of her prints. 
          Jill married her Norwegian husband Simon and has been living in Bergen, Norway for several years.  The beautiful fairytale forests have been a huge inspiration in her artwork.  She hopes to capture nature's beauty with her attention to detail and lively colors.
